"Paul once claimed that he did not need letters of recommendation because the people to whom he had ministered were his letter, written “not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts” (2 Corinthians 3:3). In saying this Paul was claiming much more than that his ministry was legitimated by its internal (rather than superficial) effect on others. He was, in fact, arguing that in his ministry the whole story of redemption was coming to its climax as the Spirit of God gave new life and new hearts to those who received his gospel."
Dr. Michael Kibbe, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Communication and Theology, will provide a public lecture, Hermeneutics of the Heart, on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in Uhden Chapel at GNU. Please join us for this educational opportunity!
