This past Saturday, May 4th, Great Northern University concluded its graduation exercises with its historic, inaugural commencement ceremony in the Worship Center of our ministry partner, Fourth Memorial Church. This event celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2019, the first graduating class of Great Northern University. The faculty and deans of GNU presented nine candidates for degree conferral to the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Jack White, and the University President, Dr. Wendy Liddell.
The ceremony was attended by family and friends of the graduates, as well as members of the student body, the faculty, staff, and trustees of the University, and members of the public. The commencement address was given by GNU's Dr. Michael Kibbe, Dean of the College of Communication and Theology. His address was titled: "Letters to the Nine Students: Reflections That Are Not About the Transfiguration."
The full video of the ceremony can be previewed below. To view this video in full screen, please watch it on our YouTube channel.
