Spokane, WA: Great Northern University is excited to announce the launch of a Bachelor of Science in Psychology program. This new program is the first addition to Great Northern's academic offerings since the University's initial launch in August of 2018.
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology trains students to critically examine human behavior and contributing mental processes. This major equips students with the right tools to progress toward a career in social services, mental health, counseling, or psychiatry.
The Psychology major is the first B.S. degree offered by Great Northern University. A B.S. degree differs from a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in that the B.S. degree generally has an increased emphasis on math and science within a discipline, whereas the B.A. degree usually has an increased emphasis on humanities within the same discipline.
Interested persons may apply for admission to the university immediately, with classes in the B.S. in Psychology program starting in January, 2020.
