**There's Still Time to Give!**
Thank you to everyone who supported GNU at the $100 Cheeseburger cookout this past Friday! This event was a huge success, and we are humbled by your sacrifice and support.
For those that could not attend, but would still like to give toward our accreditation process*, the giving link below will be kept live until Wednesday, June 26th, 2019.
Great Northern University is pleased to announce the return of Spokane's most expensive cheeseburger! This isn't just any ordinary cheeseburger; this burger represents GNU's continued commitment to academic excellence. Your gifts from this event will help cover our costs associated with the accreditation process.* Every burger sold puts us one step closer to reaching this academic goal.
The evening will start at 5:30 p.m., Friday, June 7th, and will be held outside in the south parking along Indiana Ave. Come prepared for a family-style cookout, and bring your appetite! There will be all kinds of sides and treats to go with the cheeseburgers, as well as water and soda. Missed it last year? Here's what it was like!
Guests will also get to hear from GNU's President, Dr. Wendy Liddell, as she reviews GNU's first year and previews her vision for the days ahead.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP using the form below. This will help us gauge how much food to prepare. You may also pre-pay for your cheeseburgers using the "Give Now" button below. Paying ahead will make your wait in line shorter the evening of the cookout! The requested donation is $100 per cheeseburger. We request that your donation at least matches the number of your guests who will have a cheeseburger at the event.
Those who cannot attend the event are still invited to participate by making a donation with the pre-pay link.** As always, all gifts are tax deductible, and you will receive an emailed receipt for your gift when you pay online.
*gifts given toward this fundraiser will go into our general operating fund, where they will help offset costs associated with pursuing accreditation, as well as meeting other needs at the discretion of GNU.
**Just to be clear, only those that attend the cook-out will receive cheeseburgers. While we deeply appreciate your generosity in giving, sending a cheeseburger to you via post seems like a bad idea...
