Finn Torjesen spent a large part of his early years in Taiwan, the last two of which he began working as a missionary with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission). Remaining with TEAM, he then spent nine years as a church-planting missionary in Indonesia. For the past 25 years, he and his wife, Sandy, have been serving in China as TEAM missionaries, facilitated through Evergreen.
Finn and Sandy have been married for 42 years and have two adult children (twins!), Davin and Denise. Finn received a diploma from Moody Bible Institute in 1975, a Bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in 1977, and an MBA from Rutgers University Beijing Center in 2003.
