Great Northern University takes pride in providing a unique college housing experience. Our program maximizes a student's ability to grow in community with other students, while also helping them develop real-life skills. By the time our students graduate, they are experts at living in an urban environment, and they've become proficient at managing purposeful relationships with others.
For the 2019/2020 academic year, GNU housing will only be offered to new students. Housing for new students will be arranged after a student has been accepted for admission.
GNU provides men's and women's housing for incoming new students in residential houses in the neighborhood around campus. Students can expect to share a room with a roommate; and each house will have several other GNU students total. Housing at GNU is not-coed.
GNU does not offer a food service or cafeteria. Rather, student's will provide for their own meals in their houses, which are equipped with full kitchens.
Each GNU house will have a Resident Adviser (RA), an upperclassman student to help acclimate and assist new students. RA's will help new students navigate living in Spokane, and learn the in's-and-out's of being at GNU. They excel in helping students be successful in their new community.
