Great Northern University takes pride in providing a unique residence housing experience. Our residence housing maximizes a student's ability to grow in community with other students, while also helping them develop real-life skills. By the time our students graduate, they are experts at living in an urban environment, and they've become proficient at managing purposeful relationships with others.
GNU residence housing is available to all GNU students. GNU provides men's and women's housing with residential houses in the neighborhood around campus.
- Students can share a double room with a roommate, or have a single room to themselves.
- Each house will have between 4-8 other GNU students total.
- Housing at GNU is not-coed.
- Student's will provide for their own meals in their houses, which are equipped with full kitchens.
Some GNU houses will have a Resident Adviser (an RA), an upperclassman student to help acclimate and assist new students. RA's will help new students navigate living in Spokane, and learn the in's-and-out's of being at GNU. They excel in helping students be successful in their new community.
GNU students are not required to live in RA Housing; however, new students are highly encouraged to do so. Here are the housing fees per semester for the different housing options that are available:
