Great Northern University takes pride in providing a unique residence housing experience. Our residence housing maximizes a student's ability to grow in community with other students, while also helping them develop real-life skills. By the time our students graduate, they are experts at living in an urban environment, and they've become proficient at managing purposeful relationships with others.
GNU residence housing is available to all GNU students. GNU provides men's and women's housing with residential houses in the neighborhood around campus.
- Students should plan to share a double room with a roommate; a limited number of single rooms may be available in certain houses.
- Each house will have between 4-8 other GNU students total.
- Housing at GNU is not-coed.
- Student's will provide for their own meals in their houses, which are equipped with full kitchens.
Some GNU houses will have a Resident Adviser (an RA), an upperclassman student to help acclimate and assist new students. RA's will help new students navigate living in Spokane, and learn the in's-and-out's of being at GNU. They excel in helping students be successful in their new community.
GNU students are not required to live in RA Housing; however, new students are highly encouraged to do so.
Housing fees and the registration link for housing for the 2020-2021 academic year will be posted soon on this page.
